This past weekend was a busy one for CJDE.
Starting with our flower child bride, Jessica. I was a proud Mama this past weekend – Jessica was my pledge baby back at the Tridelt house at the University of Illinois. We met in 2005 and became fast friends. Her smiling, infectious personality paired with her impeccable style are just a few things I love about our bride.
Jessica & Tom’s wedding vision: Vintage Romance, highlighting her favorite cheery flower, the daisy
Jessica’s natural and organic bridal bouquet was designed to look as if we just scooped up flowers from a field. Spilling queen anne’s lace, daisies, babies breath, wax flowers and more.
My favorite detail? Jessica’s Grandma’s bible fastened to the bouquet – a gift dated back to when our girl was just a baby.
Jessica & Tom’s reception took place at the historic Germania Place. Vintage, mercury and glass candles flickered. Menus matching her entire invitation suite designed by LBrown Design & Paperie paired with gold napkins tied with navy organza ribbon, with sweet daisies tucked in completed the setting. Vintage milk glass from Nimblewell…I can go on and on.
Steve Koo, we’re counting down the days until we see your gorgeous photography!
Down the street my beloved old roomie Brianne was tying the knot to my high school friend Michael. Words can’t express how much I love these two. It was a beautiful day and everyone around them could tell just how in love and happy they both were.
Brianne’s wedding reception took place at the gorgeous Newberry Library. That staircase…Bree’s personal touch of adding Michael’s Law School books to the decor…that guest book puzzle (photography by the lovely Dabble Me This)…and last but not least, the Illini gnomes! A gift from Michael to Bree when they graduated.
I am honored to have been your wedding coordinator, guest and forever friend to you both.
Sincere congratulations to Jessica & Tom and Brianne & Michael! Thank you for allowing myself and the entire CJDE team to be a part of your memorable weddings.
Working with you all on your wedding day just reinforces my everyday belief that I officially have the world’s best job. xoxo
