4th of July Party Ideas! Happy Birthday America

July 4, 2018 / Celebrate

We are so lucky to every year have the honor of ringing in America’s birthday with a beloved Client who has THE best 4th of July parties. And taste. And crazy fun ideas. Collaborating with her every year (we do at least two soirees annually!) is a total dream come true.

For the 4th we always want big, bold and FUN! In every which way, from the food to decor to the poolside music. I can’ t wait to share 2018’s bash in a few months (it was GOOD) but for now, can we please relive this 2017 magic?

Starting with Truffleberry Market Catering’s menu. No ask is to big or small. Red, white and blue dyed buns, for our wild west bison burger bar. Washed down with blueberry mojitos and spiked cherry lemonade. Fried Chicken & cornbread. A french fry bar with all the fixin’s. Lobster mini corn dogs and maple hand painted, glazed and gooey, bacon bark. Wow, were the tables topped with this bacon the most crowded of all! (Fun tip: we used this bacon bark in mini mason jars as a edible centerpiece for hi-boy tables! near the bar!)

For decor we kept things more modern but whimsical (because last year you can see here, we went vintage Americana). This party goes into the late night so everything later glowed; all while capitalizing on the beautiful layout and patio furniture my Client already owns. For floral, red white and blue with classic American fun like daisies for a whimsy touch.

Last but definitely not least, the sweet ending to the party menu. Mini everything, finished with spiked iced coffee shooters and mini donuts.
