Baby Shower Flowers

This weekend I had the privilege of working with a beloved client, who was getting ready to celebrate her daughter’s baby girl on the way.

We threw Danielle the sweetest SURPRISE baby shower. The theme: Peaches & Cream. Ruffles & Bows. The colors, bright and soft peach, cream and blush pink.

Inspired by all things frilly and girly, this lovely luncheon was held at the Women’s Club of Evanston. The sun-filled tea room set the tone for the surprise as did the beautiful invite and paper design by LBrown Design & Paperie.

Guests were welcomed with fresh peach bellinis and sparkling peach ice tea for the mommas to be, served in glass baby bottles.

The european style table was set with beautiful mismatched china from Plate: Vintage Crockery & Rental Rescue  filled with floral I designed in vintage tea pots again from Plate, vintage milk glass from Nimble Well and more.

We created custom lace runners and scalloped lace chair caps, utilizing chair ties from BBJ Linen to create the perfect bows.

J&L Catering did an exquisite job with the luncheon – ending with peaches and cream trifles. Amy Beck’s cake and bow & ruffle cookies were to-die-for. The sweets were as delicious as they were beautiful.
