CJDE is a wedding planning company rooted in 10+ years of hands-on experience in event design and floral production. You’ll often hear Christine say “Being a Wedding Planner makes me a more knowledgeable and thoughtful designer. And being a designer with actual hands-on loading-dock and production execution experience makes me a more thorough Wedding Planner”. (Why do you think so many Chicago vendors continuously refer Christine Janda Design & Events? - they know we get it because we do it).
At CJDE your Wedding Planner is not only a logistics and project management expert but is also supported by a full event design and floral production team. Rolled into one house so not one detail nor opportunity to make your wedding shine is lost.
The long and the short of it; no. As your Wedding Planners we want you to come to us for anything and everything. We will meet, message, talk and work as diligently as what’s needed to produce a flawless event.
Based on their experience and time invested towards a wedding, CJDE provides Planners who excel at either Full Service, Partial or Wedding Coordination services. All with outlined guidelines and processes so you are always in the “know” of how to work with your planner.
Included in our planning services (and what makes CJDE so special!) is a full, custom design plan created just for You. Beyond any mood board that is created by a planning company who does not have the in-house expertise of an event design production company.
The vast majority of our Wedding Planning Clients do also choose to utilize CJE for their event design and flowers however this is by no means a requirement for any Full Service or Partial-Planning couple. Our end goal is to create the vendor team of your dreams; we are fellow floral friends with all major design houses in the city! After all, we speak the very same language.
For our Wedding Coordination “Day-of” couples, please note; due to each planner and coordinator taking on 10 full service weddings or less each year to stay focused on You, our wedding coordination services are only provided when couples also work with CJE Studio floral services.
